I have been fighting this wildfire in Oklahoma last four days, just had a moment to think about how nice it would be to be on top of the mountain pass in Colorado and had a chance to check in on this thread. Wish registration would take place earlier so summer plans could be made.
 
Registration will be available as soon as it can be available. The guys that handle this do it for free. Out of the goodness of their LC-loving hearts. Imagine adding the load of coordinating and hosting this event into the chaos of your daily life...with no monetary benefit to you. Crazy amount of work. Hell if I was doing it registration would probably be the week of the event :)
 
Absolutely, no disrespect intended. I can't imagine trying to get such an event put together.
Just trying to express that it's difficult for me to prioritize my limited vacation without knowing if I'll be able to attend HIH.
I haven't had the opportunity yet to attend an HIH, I sincerely hope that this year my family and I can make it.
 
Man I wish I could attend this year but we've made other plans to go to White Star CG near Buena Vista (7/13-7/17), Rocky Mountain NP (7/17 - 7/21) and finally Denver (7/21-7/24). I'm going to miss seeing old friends and making new ones. Maybe I'll just drive up for the weekend to hang out and run some mild trails on my own. I have that Friday off which makes the drive a little more manageable over 3 days instead of 2. This will also leave a spot available for newbies that have never experienced the event before.

Good news for you guys hoping to get a slot on the roster, you'll have one less newbie to beat. I had to commit to my summer plans last week and opted for a week in South Fork in August. I certainly didn't want to plan on attending an event I might not get to attend. Those that do go, I expect to see a lot of pictures! As a bonus my wife and I are planning an early October trip to Ouray. If anybody wants to tag along that couldn't make the registration, consider this your invitation :)

Within the next two weeks, we will post a date for registration. Registration will be no later than April 24th. Thanks for the patience. I totally get the need to plan, etc. Wish we could do unlimited trucks, just not an option with limited number of trails, permitting, etc. @paflytyer and I are planning on a great event....again. thx ~chris

OH NO! Let's not pick that weekend (22-24) to do registration please! Family will be camping and probably away from signal for doing this!:bang:
 
I'm getting married April 22nd, any day but that day please. or the weekend before when I will be at Coachella, lol
 
@bluecruiser That (Paulo) @Get outside guy is extra needy and sensitive....I mean he's probably gonna ask somebody to bring him beer...sheesh!

If I had just one wish...it would be for the kids
If I had just two wishes...it would be join in on the fun and hang out with some new friends..and that crap about the kids
