Yeah buddy. Look around for an ignition switch while your at it :D I've actually found a couple of PTO options, Gregs being one of them, he wants to trade it towards some Saginaw conversion parts, the other I found is through a customer in Idaho but getting it here is the PITA part.

I'll ring you!

Bump. The Mrs has been putting the heat on me about getting her truck ready for some summer Cruising. We are actually thinking of taking it on a 3 day "Relic Run" on a self supported trip through the desert here in Utah. Pretty ambitious in an old FJ45 but I think its possible.

Keep me in mind if you run across some of these parts :D

Latest needs:
Parts I Need: Let me know if you know of a source!
PTO Winch (where are they when I actually want one :D ) - Have a couple local leads
Bug catcher window w/s (anyone making these again?)
Tailgate
Rear Tailight assemblies
Rear tailight plugs for vehicle side of harness (this one has been hacked)
Repro Engine, Heater, etc stickers (FoxFab do these??)
Fuse Block Cover
OE Headache Rack

LMK if you see something I could use. Thanks!

:D

Seen something like that on a Toyota calendar somewheres!:grinpimp:

I got my F135 repro decal YEARS ago from GroundUp. I think Aatlas1x may be doing them now.

Somebody else was putting the arm on Robert Furman about the bugcatcher w/s again[ maybe it was Dom Smith]. I've misplaced mine I got from him.

Fuse block cover? Well.......................

I'll try and ring Robert, that would be killer. I've got a couple sets of 66' doors so I could get started with a rebuild on one of the sets. Lost your eh? Your getting forgetful old chap, I'm going to have to start holding all your rare parts just so you don't lose them. You know the shipping address :D

Which calendar are you referring to? You ought to come up for it.

Nice find Kurt. I have been thinking about buying a pickup. My thoughts are If your going to buy a pickup, why not a 45? It will go nicely with the collection. Trading my 40 straight across for 'flip dogs' 80 series. Then the search begins for another 40. Also may be coming into a trade for an FJ45 LV. Cant wait. Keep the pics coming of your build!

BUUUUUMMMMP - The wife is going to kill me if I don't come up with some more parts :D

Long distance bump. Its been sitting a full year with a bum F motor, but I'm back on it. My new shop is 95% done and I will soon have plenty of space to work on it.

Current Parts Need List:
F Engine, complete or short-block ready for rebuild
PTO Winch (where are they when I actually want one ) - Have a couple local leads, Mike you still have one?
Bug catcher window w/s (been in contact with Rob, need to contact again)
LWB Tailgate - 3 Hinge
Tailgate Latches (pair)
Rear Tailight assemblies
Rear tailight plugs for vehicle side of harness (this one has been hacked)
Repro Engine, Heater, etc stickers (GroundUp/Aatlas1x will be my source)
Fuse Block Cover
OE Headache Rack (one for sale in classifieds now but shipping is a deal breaker)

LMK if you see something I could use. Thanks!

F135 or F145?

I may have the engine you need. But I'm not sure if it's a 135 or a 145. I believe it came out of a '73 fj40. It's in a '72 fj40 now.
It was rebuilt 10 years ago or so. It has a rv cam, header, and webber carb in/on it. It has not been run very much at all.

F135 or F145?

F135 would be ideal

Though I'll always have the original engine to rebuild down the road for a full-resto scenario??

If you're still lookin' I have a '66 FJ45 F engine that runs nice in IN. Be happy to palletize and ship it. Not worth much more than scrap weight to me but I'd rather not scrap it out.

Nick
