I didn’t know this one was still in the area. Was sold at Billy Wall’s car lot on Hwy 471 years ago. The interior is interesting to say the least. Definitely different with wood door panels and a big turtle carved into the center console lid or the odd seat material. Truck was clean and low miles. To each their own I guess.

They had this listed on facebook for $10k. After I sold my blue 60 they pulled it down and raised the price $3k.

In the future you don’t need to separate them to grease the birf.

One way to get the birf off without killing that ring is to drop it on a pipe that the inner axle fits into

Slip axle into pipe standing up and drop the two from as high as the axle will allow.

The pipe method is how I separated them. I used the pipe on my 80 series birfs and the ring didn’t break. Guess I have bad luck.

How do you grease the birf without separating them?

You just push grease into them. People make WAY too big a deal over grease and birfs and mixing and this and that.

I hand push grease in until it is full.

Or you can buy a set of RCV axles that now come with gun drilled birfs. Then all you have to do is remove the 10mm’s for the hub dials and put a grease gun on the zerks and fill them up. Removing the shafts is a thing of the past with this set up. It just so happens 49Tire is a RCV dealer...

Used this Mr gasket adapter then had to remove rear and front mounting brackets. Used rear bracket on front and plugged back mounting bracket hole.
