The odometer is just over 309,000 mi, but at the time of this post, it is getting a rebuilt 2F, knuckle rebuild, Old Man Emu (heavy) will get 33" BFG AT, 4Plus u-bolt flip kit, Terrain Tamer brake rotors, swing out tire/jerry can carrier rear bumper, winch bumper.
Still on the fence on whether I need a safari rack, and do plan on swapping in an H55 5 speed tranny within a year.

I bought this to become our family adventure vehicle, the FAM-V!
315k on the odo
OME lift, other than that, stock for now.

I just bought it a couple of weeks ago. Currently, it's my DD (about 75 miles a day), but it will soon go under the knife. I'm hoping to pick up another 60 to serve as my donor vehicle. I will use the chassis and possibly the running gear from the donor and replace as much of the chassis as possible, maybe entirely. It will get a GM L92 and a 6L80. I'm on the fence about D60's and four link rear, 3 link front.

The plan is to make it reliable enough to drive across the country, strong enough to pull a trailer with 2 UTV's, and equipped well enough for small weekend camping trips with the family (wife and 2 kids).

The build will be documented here - FollowMyBuild - 1984 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser - FAM-V

Hi Everyone, 1985 FJ60 here in Bay Area, San Francisco, CA. 153K on the clock, stick.

Modest Ironman lift kit with shackles, 33" BFG A/T, modern stereo. Looking for a 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver, if anyone has one cluttering up the garage ;)

My name is Mike and I have a 1988 FJ62 with 197k miles. It has been given the name of Kronk by my daughter when she was 12ish. It is currently OME heavy sprung, with a Shackle reversal in the front and Anti-inversion shackles in the rear. Just rebuilt the axles with 88's and ARB Lockers. Arb front bumper with 9000# Superwinch, Dual Battery Set-up, Slee Rear Bumper and Sliders. This is our families vehicle as I have been told I will never be able to get rid of it.

I haven't done this yet so here I am.

Name is Wade, I am the proud owner of "The Hellic Relic", until named properly. A 1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser! I BOUGHT THIS NOVEMBER AFTER SO MUCH WAITING And prayer. I'm a 26 year-old Civil Engineer that wants to understand more than my generation does. I found Her in August and the Respectable Man held it for me till November when I was finally able to sell my truck for a price I wouldn't feel foolish about. (at least I didn't go with my orginal idea of an old vehicle and buy an extremely unreliable J10 Pickup or 80's Cherokee Chief)
She has 252k miles currently.
The previous owner/hero swapped a 91 Camaro 350 TBI rebuilt motor with only 10,000 miles on it about 4,000 miles ago.
This is my Daily Driver in Austin Texas where my commute isn't terrible yet thank you Jesus.
I'm becoming a less but still nearly clueless Texan learning how to restore A/C to Her.
So I say HELLO! and Wreck'em Tech!
