Just got four at Napa ,

I've looked at multiple threads and I must be missing it... I read sometime back a thread that included a spring number for those of us that have a pig with front hinge problems, and no longer have springs in their hinges...... can anyone point me in the correct direction as to what is available...?

Yeah, the fella who was rebuilding them was using a new spring. we'll come up with it.

Thanks Scrap.......I went thru that thread earlier, and repeated just now, and see where you asked but never got an answer.. I've PM'd the wizard behind the hinge rebuilds and hopefully he's still interested....

Reached out to Midgainc. He's still rebuilding...I'm going his talents and experience before my desire to DIY. Sometimes you gotta go w the man who's done it already w success......

looks like napa 675-5157 and Dorman 38397 is no longer available....

If you need it, try googling "Dorman 38397" popped up at a CDN retailer called the wrench monkey, ebay and a few other places..

I bought these on Amazon, but the bushings are a little bigger on the top of the bushing. I have not tried theses yet, But think they should work just have to file a little bit I hope. Pic of the difference in the bushings ,

Yikes! That ain’t good!
It appears that the kit @Half Wacked aka Split Pea is for the same applications that the Dorman 38397 is for (late 80’s to late 90’s Nissan Pathfinders and pickups).

Couldn’t find any on Cruiser Outfitter’s website or Cruiser Corps. Several vendors on eBay selling them and every one of them says “almost gone” (). Seems to be a good supply of Nissan pins there still…
