Yeah, it's really not an obstacle but this section of trail generally consumes 1 or 2 SUVs a year, and has also been known to eat a SxS. As previous comments suggest, when the driver decided to fight gravity by hitting the brakes... gravity won.
I was wheeling with a nicely built FJ yesterday, those trucks are very stiff w/ only about 2" of downtravel. I can't tell you how many times I saw tires lifted and on multiple occasions the bottom of his truck. At one point he almost rolled it going down some moguls we just came up. Very little articulation and a short wheel base, I can see that video happening.

You all will be fine, so jealous right now and wishing I was not here in San Diego!!

Enroute! In the middle of Kansas at the worlds largest ball of twine!

The trail runs start on the 26th out of that parking lot. First group starts at 7:30 and the second group at 8:30. On the 25th, there is a reception at 5-8pm at New Sheridan Historic Bar that Elite Land Cruisers is hosting.

On 200lcdc.com, click “learn more” and then just scroll down the page.
Thanks. Did I imagine it or was there a basics of off roading happening on the the 25th?

Bella and I are in Ouray and look forward to meet so many new folks this year and all our old friends tomorrow. We have made our way gradually from Houston. With adventures along the way as she turned 13 yesterday.

Elite Land Cruisers is glad to give back to the group in hosting our get together kick-off with a couple of adult beverages and some Swag. See everyone at the Historic Sheridan Bar tomorrow!

Have a blast everyone - keep the rubber side down!

Unfortunately I can't make it this year - stuck in NYC. It's a great event: well organized, well sponsored - more importantly, well attended!

Heading out tomorrow afternoon ourselves. Hoping to be there around dinner time on Thursday.

By the way, anyone still looking for dispersed camping, check out Alta Lakes just outside of Telluride. It came recommended by Woody two years ago during our LCDC event then.
