Not toyota. Haynes and another one...I forget the name

the Haynes wiring diagram is correct for the carb solenoid - one ign switched wire to it, and the solenoid grounds itself at the carb body

Anybody have easy/quick access to eyeball something on their 40? Reassembling all steering components today and got the drag link and relay rods mixed up. One is a couple inches longer than the other. I'm thinking the shorter one has to be the drag link rod?

Looks spectacular in the photos. Why did you sell?

I think it is the coolest 40 series ever. I would love to have something like this, but I cannot make a 40 fit my needs.

I live 25 miles from where I can ride around town in a 40......

I hate to wheel a 40.....even if I did, that one is too nice and unique to wheel even if riding on trails and getting the hell beat out of me with leaf springs was fun.

I bought it to flip it. I made 3-4K on it....not that money is long gone of course.

If/when I ever get in the market to collect cars that is what I would want to keep in the garage for my 40 series slot.

I doubt that I could have parted with that one, even for a $4K profit. Same reason I don't think I could sell the old rustbucket.

Here's one I'd like to own, but it ain't gonna happen...

If you would finish your book so others and myself could buy it I bet you could afford that Icon Land Cruiser.

Ha. If I thought it was that simple I'd be writing like a madman.

When the time comes for a book release bash, I'll be sure to set aside plenty of copies for the Cottonland crew. Maybe even have a book signing party on GT's front porch. That somehow seems appropriate.
