Easily the best looking (non-40-specific) steelies Toyota has ever made...

Out of curiosity, if your were a 40 buyer today, what's the max you'd shell out for your old 40?

If it were me personally, I am extremely cheap. There is no way I would pay $30,000 for that truck. Maybe $15,000 or $20,000. Honestly though, I do believe that truck is worth what the guy is asking. The mechanical and electrical are well sorted, and that engine swap, is still one of the cleanest I have seen. I think he should be able to get at least $25,000

I’m not sure why Toyota went away from these hinges but pulling a FJ45 top is some kind of easy. 4 bolts. Short alignment shafts. Lever hinges.

Asking here because I thought it might be seen sooner. Anyone know the proper size of the vacuum lines going to the transfer case on a 3spd case with vacuum actuated 4wd. I cut mine while pulling the case and need to get some replacement hose. @wngrog @MScruiser @orangefj45 @offr0adlim0 @beno

Thanks in advance

Thanks, i meant to pull them while i had it out, but forgot, so now I gotta try and swap the hoses I cut when i pulled the case.

Sorry, my 78 does not have a 3spd
