Now that 16” OEM-style wheels are an option we have lots of good tall-skinny options available.

7.5R16 KM3’s are basically 32” by about 8-8.5 wide depending on how much air you put in them.

There are also quite a few tall/skinny options in metric sizes for 16” wheels (I think that’s 235/85R16)?
Where did you get your 16” wheels?

CityRacer - He's a vendor here on the forum. They are not inexpensive, but quality is good and figured it would be one of those things I only need to buy once.

Wow you aren’t joking! 😬 thank you!

What are the details on your rig? It’s pretty much exactly the look I want! 16” wheels? Size tires? Lift?
Tires are 33/1150 r15’s BFG KM2’s. The wheels are just stock steelies 15x8’s that I had powder coated, but I can’t remember the RAL color code and I have a 4” lift. It rides nice but will have a fair amount of body roll with the tall and skinny tires. Not that any of us are out trying to rally race with these things. I also like the amount of rubber overdrive that the 33 inch tires give me. Hiking cruise at 70 mph running 3000 RPMs.

Don't believe those are stock steelies. My guess stock wheels widen to 8". If Toyota made 8" version of the disc brake 15" wheel they would be very popular.

I think that’s what he meant.

Sort of like a restored FJ40 with a V8.

Yep, I have a 3 hole garage with two 7’ doors and a 8’ door. It will fit under my 7’ but, I would have to roll my door back as far as it would go. It fits under the 8’ with my roof racks and surfboards on top. So needless to say I always put her in the big hole when I get home.

5.5 x 16 wheels from city racer . 9.5 TSL's on a SOA .

How’s it ride ? I really like the look !!
Well, I put new springs and shocks and stabilizer at the same time, so it definitely rides much better. How much does that have to do with the tires is difficult to say. I had on 33"x 12.50 on 16 x 10" wide wheels before. The TSL's are louder but handle so much better.
