No way...I have too much driving in too short a timeline for any side trips of any kind. Plus Vegas is boring unless you are on expenses and the bunny ranch is just gross to even think about!

Why so serious Dan...... you aren't by chance an engineer or doctor are you :hhmm:

I am just pissed cause some doof rear ended me a month before the trip and I am scrambling to get it all fixed!

Duct tape.

There is a roll of duct tape involved for now. New door, glass, bumper latch repair, possibly new front cvs, rack, and tie rods too since I was h it while turning and all sorts of fun clicking going on and moaning while turning

12 days till Scott and I leave for Moab.

Getting the last touches fixed on the GX latch system and having a fluid baseline.

Ordering 2 tie rods and have a spare axle.

Then I have to pack, can't wait!

Saweet!! You are going to have a blast it is epic out there, enjoy

and post lots of pics for us!!!

Last minute thought but you should get one of those video cameras, the name escapes me at the moment, and record the entire trip...the one that is in the waterproof case, mount it to the roof rack...just have to check the lens for the occasional dead bug!

GOPro, I have the Hero 2 that we used for our trip, vids came out good. I mounted mine just in front of the sunroof so I could access it easily. Just be prepared with a external Hard Drive as they can fill one up quickly.

Also, if you can swing for one with the remote and a few extra batteries it would be helpful for you. Looking forward to the updates! Moab was awesome in the summer, I cannot imagine it in the spring before it warms up. Just wish I could have done more trails when I was out there, time and vehicle issues prevented it for us.

hmm, not sure my schedule affords the extra time to get and tow a rig. I have to drive almost non-stop just to make this happen.
