There is a really nice tool too that makes it nice and clean looking. I will look for it on my thread and post it later

Working on mine right now…
chamfer bit

Lift is on and it looks amazing. Now going to rebuild knuckles and steering while it’s still freezing out. Will add a link to the YouTube video when it’s out and do a write up on the terrain tamer suspension after I put a few miles on it. Thanks @Flatlanderfj40 and Kansasland Tire for the lift!

@50peaks post a link to that YouTube video when you finish the recording…I need to see your review and install. I’ve been on the fence with this for months…good luck

Here’s the link for the YouTube video of my road trip from Mississippi to Kansas. I’m working on a video for the lift kit install I hope to have it out sometime this weekend. I will post the link when it’s uploaded.

Thoroughly enjoyed the video ….that really was great. Brought back a load of old memories. Enjoy the ride! 🥇

Juke Joint! My dad has a cabin in Clarksdale, MS.

Any miles on the new suspension?

Super cool I love Clarksdale! Not yet I didn’t want to take it out when it was -10 so I started on my knuckle and steering linkage rebuild. Goal is to be all done by Monday.

I started on the knuckle rebuild today, I love cleaning out old grease. Thankfully the axle and everything seem to be in great shape still. I went to put it back together and realized the kit that came with the fj didn’t have inner axle seals…thankfully autozone can have them tomorrow.

if you really want them to last, I highly recommend using the Marlin Crawler inner seals… much more heavy duty…. I can get you grease next week as well if you need it.

Thanks for the info, I think I’m going to stick with the original style seal for now so I can get it back together and move on to other projects.

Here’s the video of the install of the Terrain Tamer lift. I filmed to do a time lapse so sorry if it’s a little boring. I will film video soon driving and reviewing the suspension.
