1HDT TPS removal (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

How on earth do i remove the TPS from the injection pump? I cannot remove the screw closest to the engine. Is there a special tool?

Ive developed shifting issues after an injection pump rebuild (very late shifts, extremely sluggish) and i suspect the TPS was reinstalled incorrectly or has gone bad.

Does the 1hd-t have a TPS?
Are you talking kick down cable?

I believe the TPS is only on the 1-HDT if the truck is also equipped with an electronic controlled A442 transmission.

I used a small bit ratchet to get that one off. Enough space to push down on bit as you loosen. $15 or so for it.
