You guys do understand that the author of this thread, is doing this swap as a job? I personally don't think that it is fair to ask him to document and take all of the time to create a step by step document to do this swap. He obviously does very nice clean work and has spent a lot of his own time figuring out how to make it happen.

Perhaps he could do it like the HG DVD or something, but you don't see Slee posting a step by step how to, on a 2UZFE swap.

I might be way off base, but that is just my opinion.

Agree.

Well put Ryan.

Nice work to the op. Don't forget the vids ;)

Your regularly off base Ryan and that is not what I said to the OP. I know this thread was not designed to be that sticky and that he is doing this for a profit/hobby and I admire the way he's doing it. I stated how much someone would have to give in order to do it and what a gift it would be to our community. We do need a good sticky on this in order to continue the hobby past the limits of the Toyota power train and it's availability. I appreciate this thread and Ryan's turbo thread as well as all the others that give their time and information to our forum!

Haha, I don't take it too personally, maybe I am regularly off base, I don't feel that way, but like I said it was my opinion and I don't feel too bad expressing it since that is what the forums are for generally. If something came across that upset you, you can chalk that up to miscommunication 9 times out of 10.

the knowledge is already out there - it's all over this forum so there's no patent on it. I personally have shared a ton of information because to me, this is a hobby. I find value in sharing the knowledge and helping others with problems or questions that come up.

Doing the actual work? well, that's a whole 'nother issue. Either you have the know-how to bridge the gaps in completing a swap like this or not. those threads don't list every single little step out needed (ie open hood, remove old engine, ect).

someone paying someone else to do the job is a transaction that's between them and no one else.

personally - I don't think I would do this as a paying job. It's a lot of work!

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. Rockrod is correct, the majority of the info is out there and I have no problem answering any questions regarding performing a swap. As for a sticky that's a lot of work too in itself :D. I am doing these swaps on a as needed basis for people. I will post some more photos and a video of it running here shortly.

Just a quick update... Everything has been done for a week but we have been chasing a demon on over fueling and it has led back to PSI flashed PCM. This is the 3rd PCM from them so needless to say I will be buying HP Tuners and doing my own tunings from now on ;)

SO tossed in the new PCM and baby fired right up... Cam is nice and has a lope, sounds pretty bad ass.... Thursday I will post more photos and video of it running down the road ect.

Wheres the pictures and videos!!!//???? -> nevermind this thursday!!!

Very nice dude! So, everything inside is working? A/C, Cruise, etc? Love the stock interior. We need to hear that exhaust on the vid.
