Finished,

I will just be the one to ask, have you thought about making more of those brackets?
Awesome work and great attention to detail. Looks fantastic

I was asked for details on my oil pressure and water temp gauge install.

They are both Equus gauges. Oil px is mechanical getting its signal from a tap that the OEM pressure sensor is threaded into. Basically a T that I put in place and threaded to OEM sensor and AN fitting into. The line off the fitting is a Stratoflex -3 steel braided/cotton covered line. Good for several thousand psi 😂.

That then feeds into a steel line which goes across the firewall and into a bulkhead fitting.

I try to replicate things the way Toyota would do it.

On the passenger side of the bulkhead fitting is where the teflon line hooks into which feeds the gauge. This line is protected from abrasion by being feed through another rubber line. Yup, overkill!

The water temp is getting its signal from the coolant tube just behind and below the distributor cap. It follows the same route as the oil px line after the firewall.

Both gauges are installed in a pod I designed.

Gauges are internal lighting that is wired into the instrument lights so it dims with them.

Rear window washer diverter valve elimination.

Stupid design on Toyotas behalf.

Fabricated a bracket to mount a $22 Amazon washer bottle.

Removed diode for rear washer which is located at the steering column connector. Simply unplugs.

Used diverter valve female connector to mate to the connector that came with the washer bottle. Wires needed to be lengthened from the OEM harness side.

Can you post a link to that bottle ?

This is a great idea! I’ll do this once my diverted valve I just replaced bites the dust

So somewhere there is a major plug in the rear washer fluid line.
60 psi first tried from rear to forward and then from front to rear could not clear it🤦‍♂️

Guess it’s get deep time, fawk

Yup, hose plugged.

There 2 check valves. One can be accessed under the Jack holder. The other requires pulling down part of the ceiling at the Lh rear hatch.

One check valve was dead, other I was able to clean. Debris from the Diverter valve as it was metallic. The Diverter valve has a chromed disk in it with rubber in sides. It corrodes and pump full hose and check valves with chrome flakes. Other goo also.

Now functions🍻

Is that for a secondary battery ? or just a compartment storage?
Can be used for anything, a group 27 battery will fit in there.

Looks amazing, extremely tidy layout ! this tickles my OCD in a happy way :D

Started belt moulding and door card weatherstrip/felt replacement.

Drivers door completed, others in the next few days.

2nd last pic shows tabs that must be unbent to remove the card strip.

Last pic shows the lock clip that retains the mirror after screws are removed.
