What is the height dimension of the winch mounting area? I don’t think that bumper will work with my older Warn that has an integrated solenoid pack.
30w x 7.5 deep x 10.75 h

It looks beefy. What is the pull rating?

Tried on the Coastal Offroad bumper.
I’m using an OEM winch.

Bumper needs minor mods to accommodate as does the transmission cooler mounts. And some castings on the winch must be cut off🤦‍♂️

Actually a fair amount of work, but I like OEM and I like fabricating.🍻

I could mount the two solenoids remotely to make it easier, sorta.

Almost done😅

Looks very good.

I have 2 coastal offroad bumpers to stitch together over the summer. 1 for the 80 and one for 3rd Gen 4Runner. Looking forward to these projects. Did you have yours powder coated or did you just paint it?
I have been trialing painting some spare metal with POR15 then applying the POR15 Topcoat for the UV protection. I am very impressed with the results but I am still not committed to applying the process to the bumper. On the flip side a truly great powder coater is hit and miss.

I use a product called Armorcoat, basically Tremclad/Rustoleum.
I mix urethane hardener and use urethane reducer. I roll, brush or spray.
I am not a believer in powdercoat, seen too many failures!

Using this system costs about $10 to paint the bumper.

I fully welded the outside and stitched the inside. Then wire wheel the inside seams. Apply etching primer and seam seam sealer before painting.

Thanks for the response. Will definitely take a look at that solution.

I never saw you mention it, but your tires are Toyo-M55 255/85/16 right?
They look bigger, but I guess they just lend themselves to the tall skinny look. But man they are expensive.

Love everything about the build. You've done an awesome job documenting it. Aspirational.
