I'm parting out one of my 1992's and putting the engine and built axles (locked and geared) on my other 1992. Some may know this truck as "The Trail Whale". As you can see from the pictures its seen Cruise Moab and I know plenty of other adventures in Colorado and surrounding areas. I took it to Badlands and its a brute. I love it and it breaks may heart to part it out but I don't want two trucks.
With that said, I have no intention of ever selling my other truck so I am keeping a lot of the smaller parts like wiper motor, door motors, sunroof motor, cluster, blower motor etc. Its probably easier to say that there will be an 80 for sale minus drive train. I'm keeping the engine (3fe) and transmission that I wont be using. However, I'm willing to part with the axles. They are stock and in good condition.
The body is rough. The PO took care of it but used it on some tough stuff. With that said the frame is immaculate.
Do us both a favor. If you want something tell me what it is and what you will pay for it. I'll check to see the going rate. Please, no tire kickers. I'm busy as hell. This is the first major project I've ever undertaken and I think I've planned pretty well so it doesn't hurt to ask if I want to sell something that I may not have thought about. I do Paypal or cash on site. No third party checks, Diners Club cards, money orders, traveler's checks, IOU's etc. The shipping's on you since I have to haul the heavy stuff to Fastenal or the Post Office.
The Superwinch is NOT for sale but I have noted my M8000 for sale as noted below.
I'm near Indianapolis.
Some specific items that people might be interested in:
1. 5- 33" Grabber AT2's with maybe 4k miles on them. They are mounted on 16" Lexus wheels. I'm keeping the wheels. These are killer tires. When the 35' Grabbers go I'm replacing them with At2's. They will not be available until August or so.
2. Warn M8000 winch. I've only stretched the cable so its pretty much new.
3. Single Din JVC KDX200 Radio. Its nice but without Bluetooth its gone.
4. SOLD White Knuckle Off Road rock sliders. I have these on my other truck as well. The ones for sale have seen many rocks. They are scuffed up pretty well but pretty much undamaged. They have a skid plate for the cats. These are real sliders. They are heavy and cost a bunch to ship.
5. ARB CKSA12 compressor. I make no guarantees on the wiring harness. I would just expect it wont make it fully intact. Anything is possible. It works. I can include a brand new switch.
5. Slee interior spare tire carrier. Its in good shape and it held a 35" tire on it and it works great. Christo doesn't make these anymore so its a collectors item. HA.
6. The interior is in excellent shape. Its dark brown. The seats are for sale. I have the two rear seats (3rd row seats) if anyone is interested.
7. I have two of the interior stock consoles available. One latches and one doesn't. But they both hide beers and guns equally well.
8. SOLD When the project is done in August I will have OME 2.5" springs and shocks available for sale. Heavies in front and mediums in the back. Id say there's about the same amount of miles on it as the tires. I can include the control arms with the bushings in them. Don't ask me to get the bushings out. I have a mean case of tennis elbow.
9. I have a Midland CB radio. It has a completely WORTHLESS NOAA function on it. I was warned in the reviews of the thing and like a complete idiot I bought it anyways. I'm in Indiana, I will rarely usethe CB function. I like the weather function, I use it all the time. So, like a bad memory I want to offer that thing to someone who wants a basic CB that's small. I have new one with a weather function that works and I'm happy as a clam. I will trade it for a six pack of piss water beer.
Id really like to see what's left go a good home. If you want the frame and what's left of the body contact me. I'll make you a deal you cant say no to. This is my classic car and I hate to trash anything Land Cruiser. I have a title....
