Those pinch welds are, in part, designed to drain water if it gets in. Case in point, this morning my son neglected to screw his water bottle lid all the way on and when I dropped him at football practice water was pouring out of the pinch welds there.

Hard to see but that was almost 64 ounces shed. The rest is being mopped up now.

Heater core had a leak, went down the rabbit hole of people’s reviews on these heater cores, people either bypass them or solder them weld them shut etc in my opinion that’s a poor choice

I took off the bs Toyota clip that doesn’t work and put a new seal in between … put some 3/4 coolant pipe and double tied it from left and right, shaved down the center connections a bit for it to be smooth …

You can still service this down the line anytime

On another note, Trail Tailor made the new AC Condenser I just picked one up should arrive soon will post about it here

Tomorrow I’m going to trash this bs eBay $400 carpet and spend like $1500 at specter off road on new carpets …

Learned a lot on this build

If you don't want to spend Spector Off-Road money, contact @dnp for a carpet kit!

Great job!
I am NOT looking forward to that one, but when I do will add copies amounts of insulation on the firewall. More photos please!
