It’s the Cruiser’s way of saying they didn’t actually need those bolts…walking around outside last night playing basketball with my son during 1/2 time of the Nuggets game… (Hell yeah Nuggets!) I noticed this on the ground

Well that looks like a Toyota bolt, and the size seems like it goes on the Land Cruiser. I look around, yep still only have 1 cruiser.
This is a bigger bolt so slightly concerning. Hop under the cruiser to see what’s there…or not.

So I check the other side.

Well that’s interesting. The other bolt was finger tight. I went ahead put the other in, tightened them all up.
You can also see I have a few little leak/seeps happeningit appears to be mostly that oil pan. Not looking forward to pulling that and sealing it again.
All I can hope is that the other bolt fell off on the road and bounced directly towards a jeep and impaled a rubber duck.
That’s a brace for the engine to the bell housing@FJBen What does that bracket hold?? I'm a lowly 60 guy, so I'm not familiar with your motor.
It’s a bracket from the bellhousing to engine block. One per side. The bolts on the bell housing were tight, why these came out, I don’t know.@FJBen What does that bracket hold?? I'm a lowly 60 guy, so I'm not familiar with your motor.
Maybe it's like the 90s Ford Taurus where if you drove a certain speed on the highway the sympathetic vibrations would spin the engine mount bolts loose. It’s a bracket from the bellhousing to engine block. One per side. The bolts on the bell housing were tight, why these came out, I don’t know.
I believe this bolt is around 59ft lbs torque.

Not sure about 50% of the local population here in Southern Georgia but I’d certainly be offending a large cross-section of teenage girls, middle-aged women, lawyers, accountants, and all of those folks that like “angry eyes”.Exactly! I’m pretty particular so I’ll just make him do the stuff I don’t want to lol
So many jeeps in Colorado. I’d be offending 1/2 the population![]()
