EDIT: Wait, you have two websites now?

New website?!!! It's been far too long since I ordered from y'all.

Thread hijack over, sorry @FJBen

We are adding content daily to CruiserTeq.com. As soon as we have the critical mass there, we'll point CruiserOutfitters.com there. So for now CruiserTeq is our ecommerce enable products (600 and counting) and it will remain as the house brand kit for things we assemble, i.e. CruiserTeq 7x Series E-Hub Knuckle Overhaul Kits, etc.

Reading my mind.

I need the older one though correct? I don't have Electric hubs and mine is an 88.

Sure, you highlighted "CruiserTeq 7x Series E-Hub Knuckle Overhaul Kits" so I assumed you needed that.

An 88 7x with manual hubs would be the standard FA7590 variants:

I feel like I can have a good laugh at this... I'm one of the scary people who often order new hardware by part number.

Sorry. Hijack, Ben.

I know that feeling... I know that Kurt and I have probably the largest collection of OEM hardware (and data associated with them)...

Finally got a chance to test the lights at night and do a rough first aiming.

Initial thoughts, just excellent, completely night and day (haha) difference. The low beams are brighter than my old highs were.

Brights and my off-road lights:

I'm not 100% sure, other than brand Narva, what type of lights the off-roads are. I believe they are just a driving light, although it's possible they are long range as they do reach out quite a bit. I have them pointed slightly outwards from straight ahead.

@Onur, it's pics like this that make you one of my heros.

Man... when I put the new Koito assemblies in my Troopy it improved things, but not this dramatically. I just connected them to the original harness. I think I'm going to install the provided harness this weekend.

Yeah it's a huge difference. I don't have the before after pictures, but much brighter.

Using those relays and harness will make a huge difference because you are pulling the load straight off of the battery rather then through all the old wiring.

I downed about 12 that evening. Regardless BTB sucked. 🤣

More research.

So in my removable window/hard-top request I have found the majority of the parts.

Lexan Sheets:
grey_plexiglass_sheet_2074.jpg

Easier to buy/ship 2 24"x 48" sheets of it.
Looking at the 3/16" thick, which should be good enough and not flop/bend:
Nominal 3/16" Thick (actual thickness will be approximately .145" to .187"
$37.00 each

Trimlock:
It needs a way to seal and be weatherproof. It will probably only be on in the summer/fall but who knows.
This would go around the lexan. I'm not sure what style would be best:

My gut feeling is the first one, called COEX, is more waterproof based on the inner nubs on the C-channel and 2 extrusions on the bulb. About $20ish more dollars, so not a big deal.

$62.00 for 25' for COEX, $35~$45 for the other for 25'
