I need the lower filler tube gasket but not a good time to drop the tank, scheming a solution that can insert with the tube in place.

Where’s this go on the fuel filler line?

The donut shaped one pictured is instrumental in keeping grime and filth out of the passenger rear quarter, which is how I discovered mine was missing.

Mines gone too 🤣
Went to Top Industrial in Clackamas, Oregon. He gave me about 2’ of hose and 2 tee clamps. Said use what I need and bring back the rest and he’d charge me...

That’s awesome. Feel free to send me the remainder. I’ve been following this since I can see up past the edge of my tank and mine are most definitely in need of replacing. I’ll send you some cash. ;)

Hi all, new to the forum. Working on getting an '83 FJ60 running. The fuel lines were so crudded up, we dropped the fuel tank to replace, and found the 5 lines on the passenger side of the tank just plugged up with hose caps. It has an engine mounted mechanical pump and the two metal lines running into the fuel tank and no fuel pump inside the tank. Confession, totally new to carbs and mechanical fuel pumps.

I don't fully understand what these lines are for and if it's ok for them to stay plugged. Any help or input is most welcome!

Located in north Texas, so we get temps from 116 deg F to 20 deg F in a year, if that matters.

Thanks all for any help!!

I hate to question the fine engineering of the EPA, but is all that stuff really necessary? Would one hose be suitable for vapor recovery? My 1985 FJ60 is leaking like crazy from this area. It seems way over complicated.
