Up for sale is a well maintained 1985 4Runner with 238,387 miles. I don’t really want/need to sell the truck, but it’s just not going to get the use it deserves. I bought it July of ’16 and had it shipped up north from Texas. It lived most of its life in Texas, so rust is nearly non-existent. Handles well when driven on the road though sticky 37's and 4.88 gears may not be the best for highway speeds. Some interior plastic bits are showing their age both from years and its time in the southern temperatures, but nothing too bad. Both heat and A/C work well. There a couple small character dings to the exterior from trail use. Overall a real solid 33yo truck.

That plan should be "driving it to Tennessee" ;) In all honesty I've been watching this for months just waiting on finances to get right. Prob still too many months away for this to still be around. Hope it goes to a good home

Welp, it's been listed for almost 2 years and plenty of tire kickers but nothing comes of it. I hope it goes to a good home too.

Just want to let everyone know that despite the rush of interest a couple weeks back, the truck still sits in the garage. Everyone turned out to be tire kickers. If anyone out there is genuinely interested let's make a deal. This would make a great x-mas present. Possibly the best in the history of presents!

I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet. It seems like a very nice turn key rig...

The price has been dropped. See first post. The amount of new parts that are basically free is staggering... and makes me cry a little as well.

Bump for this holiday gift from Chris.... I can't believe this hasn't been bought yet. I have seen this truck and this is the deal of the (almost gone) decade....

I have seen, wheeled with, and spotted this truck several times. It is very well thought out and put together. It is a "point and shoot" vehicle.
I have known Chris for years and he is a stand up human.
This is a ridiculous deal.

Hey chris. Trade you a stock 78 40 with aluminum tub, stock PTO winch, stock AC and stock power steering. Needs a little bit of work, but solid truck

Wish had the cash as I would be on my way this weekend to pick it up. Going to try the sell the 40 locally and let you know,
Mark, I don’t think that’s a good idea, have you seen dean wheel ?
