Note I removed the fabric pad from under the hinge. I replaced it with a solid rubber one to keep it damp free.

More to come in the morning.........yes its 3:30 and I am just now getting these up....

Nice work!

Will you paint the outside body hardware (rear door screws, etc.) at some point or just leave the cad plating?

If you don't mind me asking - do you know a good source for things ARB, your OME suspension, your bumper, etc.?

incredible build

Well everyone said it already but it is an incredible build, I'd be afraid to drive it w/o some hefty insurance. Have you done other builds to this level? I think you are doing someone one hell of a favor at any price.

Where do you source all the new hardware?

Anyone else find this thread demotivates rather than motivates?

It's like looking at an A student and feeling like an E student.... the main thing that stops me thinking I am looking at pictures of a mothballed FJ40 thats never left the factory is it's better than factory :)

What size of tires did you put on that rig? I have a stock 73 FJ40 and want to get away from the P265/75R15's that are on it now. P.S. Phenominal looking rig!!!

Pm POSER here, he is an ARB dealer. I bought everything from him for two rigs.

I will not be painting the door hardware as the owner has the choice to remove his doors and do so without issues.

I have not this deep, close but not to this extreme. It is going to MN so it has to be pretty bullet proof.

Some say yes, some say no....Is it 100% original? NO is it close, hell yes it is!

I am having a fuel delivery problem.

Any one have a detailed fuel line route for a 79 and up?

What is the toyota part number for the complete air filter box and filter that sits above the rocker cover.

No idea and highly doubt it is still available.

Shane, is that an O.E.M. gasket that you were gluing down to the inside base of the air cleaner or did you fabricate it? I called Toyota and they said it was not available for a 77.
