SOLD 1981 FJ40 Red Bluff CA.

Extremely Original 033 white fj40. 2 owners prior to me. I have every receipt and service record going back to 1983. The first owner was a retired professor that passed away in 1995 and it was then bought by a retired woman who passed in 2017. It was sold new in Prescott AZ and stayed in the area. Now it’s with me in Northern CA. Front floor boards were professionally replaced and all floors were repainted due to the A/C drain not routed outside correctly. Original paint, 98k original and documented miles, 100 miles on rebuilt trans and t case. Absolutely nothing altered. Runs and drives absolutely perfect. No p/s aftermarket a/c. Seat skins are new, dash is cracked and headliner needs to be replaced. Asking $30k

I came across a picture of this 40 from an old FS listing. It still had the hasps installed on the hood. Any idea of why they were there?

I think the listing said there was power steering.

no problem. All emissions equipment present a working properly

all work was performed by the previous owner who inherited from her mother that bought it in 1996. It does not have power steering.
