I was checking my angle between tranny and rear diff. Is a 1deg different a problem?
I only see 4deg shims.
Should this be something to worry about?

I can't imagine that 1 degree is an issue especially in the rear. What is the health of your U-joints/driveshafts?

Both in good shape. I never checked it before I moved the rear back 1”. Just making sure it was not an issue. I wouldn’t think 1deg would be an issue.

NEED HELP
So the new water pump bolt pattern is too small compared to the old pump as seen in pics.
What pump do I need?

Pulley and clutch bolt pattern does fit new pump.

Got the right water pump, everything all mocked up. Need couple smaller hose clamps .
New OEM radiator

Got the Trans pulled and ready to tackle that.(NOT)

I picked up the hose clamp kit from CityRacer.
It’s nice to have a back stock and change out the rusty worm drive ones as I work on the truck.

Which one? Top radiator side is 96111-10500 according to PartSouq. Shows to be 49mm ID

Tore to the transfer case tonight and this gear looks like the bearing twisted inside, does not line up with oil hole, and looks a little worn.
Is this something that comes in the transfer repair kit?

yea, I ordered a bunch from Toyotaparts and the hose side at the engine side is larger than the radiator side. Booooo

So I had a small amount of metal in the bottom of the drain plug. I suspect that is typical. Looking to change out the syncro gears. Just eye-balling the gears, looks pretty good to me. But I have no idea what bad would look like unless its missing a tooth. lol
