Hey Pat, do you have the clutch pedal on the parts rig. The one I’m working on was converted to auto and all they did was remove the pedal, master and lines. I believe we will go with a soft line to make it easy. If you have it let me know what you need for it. Thanks. Jim

I'll dig through my parts pile later today and see if I have it. Likely it's there though.

Jim,
I don't have the pedals. Everything on my parts truck is in boxes. Went through them last night and no findo. I will look again but pretty sure they aren't there

Not sure where the code is on the truck. Maybe just have to find some original paint on it somewhere and go from the chart?

Jim check to see if a pedal from a 40 series will fit, I'm thinking it will.

Hey Pat and any other folks that can weigh in. Getting ready to paint the engine bay back to the original Cygnus white. Pulled the block off plate for the clutch master (P.O. had an automatic trans). Noticed that the brake booster covers part of the clutch master hole. Need to use this hole for the new CM, what do you suggest? I’m guessing this is not the original booster.

If 55's and 40' have the same booster bolt pattern (and l'd bet they do) City Racers complete unit would work nicely !

Not trying to hijack but here is a build I did a few years ago. I learned quite a bit about 55's during the process. I like them a lot. Wouldn't mind having one someday.
Quick first pig build
Just read your build thread. Real shame the truck is in limbo today. Will have a few questions for you as I work through this conversion. Also, do you have more pictures than what you posted? If not I’ll test your memory along the way :). Thanks again. Jim

It was quite a while ago I realized that I did this build, I'll dig through my pics and see if there might be something that could help you. Feel fee to pm me if there is anything in that build that I can explain better. I think my favorite part was putting the engine back in after it was all cleaned up. Looking good, excited for your progress.
