ok I got the carbs
the 67 came with the glas chrasht!! ..... so bad
butr the 68 very cool and goood . no play on butterflies and inside parts , also the wire filter on the gasolinbe intake.
take many pics and disassemble all
now Im thinking to give a ligth zinc plate coat on the carb body as apparently was from new......the float like new lets see how it gets finishh:bounce::wrench:

I clean and polish all parts and send to te zinc plate, they are here now!!(that was fast)
the body with a ligth zinc plate and all secrew matching the OEM color
I polish the glass and looks grate!!

well months a go I restore the rear heater
I found it a year ago, and was in good condition, not rust, I sand blast the core and body
primered the body and paited pewter color, for the core I will send to de galvanizing guys to aviod rust
for the last waiting for the decal location !!

What are your resouces for doing all of this blasting, powdercoating and plating? Do you do it yourself? Pay to have it done? Or does the company you work for do it for you?

Well
mostly all I doit by miself , just the zinc plate I go with sand blasted parts and they got like 20 minutes and I back
powder I do by miself thanks to eastwood company. they sell a good and cheap powder coat machine.
all tools I need it on my shop so I get them for two uses , shop and car
wife is not that happy but she has a new car so sorry heheheh

I will be in the shop Thursday and Friday afternoon, as well as Monday afternoon next week. Not sure after that. I have a lot of volunteer work going on out in the desert these days. Look forward to meeting you.:)
