Absolutely beautiful work. I think you have skills and patience that most of us could only ever dream of.

I see you picked up one of the Busch HO scale FJ40s. Is that for your next model job? The other one that might work but be too big would be the FJ43 that Johnny Lightning produced a few years back. I think it's closer to 1/64 scale.
 
yes but I buy because is the color of my real one
I bpight one 4 years ago and I personalize like mine with the well caps and all moust

well I found a very good 4WD conection switch but it came damege so I fix it and I can see how this work inside, I draw the parts on CAD and cutt it on the laser and make it work!!

Did the base screw out of the housing? It looks similar to the column reverse switch I have from a construction perspective and was wondering if the electrical connector unscrews from the metal housing or if it was a crimp fit.

they are this,it came from the metal vacum housing,

Now horn relay time!

And also I pull out the wiring harness
And Im going to make a good one
mine have like 44 years of quick fixt and some modifications, so I take an ( so so ) 71 to use the wires and redo the burn and modify 68 one

Its a good chalenge !!!!!!

I make a rubber stamp in the láser machine,
and several times to get it clean
Also stamp on the bottom!!!

Thats the first I have ever heard of someone using a LASER on a 40... freakin awsome!!!!
 
fixing all the harness
I take an use 1971 fj40 has donner
and fix one by one all demage cables
I memorize the location of almost all cables!!!! on the 68 they are not many!!

Just about the time I start feeling good about the progress on my 40, I open this thread...and it takes me down a notch or two! Great work! Truly inspirational! :clap:
