BWaahahahahahahhahahaahaahha... Yethp. My tongue with stuck in my mouff from awl voze.

Actually, the main Franklin PO is privately owned and ran out of money for the Stamps On Line machine. I kept my social distance away from DeeDee whom I've known since high school while she peeled those off one at a time. Glad I was the only one in the place.

How many license plates does it take to cover a wall? Better yet, how many cars do you have to own to get the job done?

It’s getting time to prep the underside of the 45 so I can get it out of the air and start on the axles and such.

looks like the body shop pulled the bed and just let the overspray hit the axles and frame 🙄
The bed is in great shape. Only one cancer spot. I’m going to drill a hole there and use my fluid film 360* tip then plug the hole.

No full fluid film spray until all the mechanical is done and it’s about to go home. That stuff is messy when you have to cut and weld and such.

All this will get rust converted, paint or lizard skin

Got the bed area done. Lizard Skin and painted. The rusted bed support channel filled up Fluid Film. Good for another 56 years back here.

Cleaned and Rust converted.

Two coats of Lizard Skin applied. This stuff is not listed as an external coating but I’ve got it under my Cruisers and it holds up well. Not good for beds where you drag objects across it but where it does not get scraped on, I like it for the heat and sound deafening.

Painted the frame after a good cleaning in the channel.

This is the wand that sprays the 360*. I inserted it into the body channel with the cancer and smoked it

VERY nice.

That bed is amazing!

It is very nice. Literally one spot of cancer and a bunch of random holes drilled in it. I can tell the external paint has some bondo but there are so few dents in the floor the original owner must have had a floor of some kind in it.

I still have the section under the cab to do. I like taking sections at a time.

This is funny. Has anyone ever seen anyone grind off the excess lug nut? Craziest s*** some people do

@wngrog keeps it aerodynamic. Gotta get speed wherever you can.......

I do wonder where this front axle came from. I have never seen Venezuela stampings on a rotor.

Man that is awesome. I am from Venezuela and I have never seen smithing like that either. What are you doing with that one ?

To the rotors or the axle?
The rotors are scrap as far as I am concerned. But the markings on them are awesome.

Man I will love to have at least one of those for my garage. Can you ship me one of those ?

Absolutely, there is only one with the markings.
The other looks like Chinese rebar.
PM me your address
Or text me at 970-261-9757

The rusty Venezuelan rotor will be sent to Jesus.
Pretty cool.!!!!

One month in. This has been a crazy build during a crazy time. Luckily everything seems to be moving forward.

Today I loaded up the parts for powder coating.

All the parts for the rear axle are in route or in house. Parts are trickling in for the RoboCop motor.

All the while @jmlockwood has been guiding this ship from deep in his sand bunker in the Florida swamps

Tomorrow starts month #2. I feel like we will start seeing some large parts landing soon so we can get some photos rolling.

They were not like that when it left my place. Seems like a lot of work.

Im assuming the same Colombians living in Miami that painted this thing did that.

Wouldn’t the immediate previous PO have knowledge on these things? :meh:

I don’t have any questions about them. I know what they were and they are already in the dump.

Axle prepped for blasting
