Man. What a journey for this truck. So basically what is going on is that Jason is repainting everything. I’ve kind of always known this was not really the correct paint for the truck. The truck is supposed to be Colorado Beige which is a darker shade of beige. That was confirmed earlier this week when Jason found some good spots of the original paint on his strip down. Now it’s going to be the correct shade of beige.
It’s going to look much better that color and there is no longer going to be anything lacking in this over the top build. Thanks for the work I’m having a blast doing it
Back to the bed, there were some rust in the vertical brace work so instead of just patching it in we went to our brake and just duplicated the braces to perfection good cleaning behind and some weld thru primer inside and it’s ready to spot weld back to the bed side and no one will ever know it’s been replace
