Yeah my mechanic did me solid on labor, Onur did me solid on parts, wouldn’t have been in the budget otherwise. It took almost a year, but it was during Covid and I tried to take short cuts along the way that ended up costing me time and money. Buy once cry once.
any other stuff I should do while it’s open? car only has 108k miles on it so not sure what else I should do that isn’t a full resto

All the rubber hoses that are hard to reach is probably a good idea. Even though your miles are low that rubber is over 25 years old.

We have cores here and can build one if you're interested. It'll have been run and shown to be leak free before it ships. If interested, let us know.

update to whoever can see, lot of coin and 2 years later she’s fully back and couldn’t be happier

Glad to hear you got it running again.

What parts did you replace, who did the work?

Total cost for parts, machine shop, and labor??

So $4125 labor to remove the old engine and install a rebuilt engine?
And $12, 500 to rebuild the original engine or was that for a new short block, new head (ie built up long block from new parts)?

Looks great.
