You wanted videos of 100's on PG? Here's one of me taking the "80-line". A 100 needs one extra inch lift in order to not get hung up here.

Now Bluecruiser took the 100 line...start where I did but stay RIGHT and it's an EASY up! Have fun guys!

Thanks. I know everything looks different in photos/videos but what about just straddling the little gully to your left? is the breakover to severe at the top?

I did that my first time up on a previous trip and drove right up HOWEVER I hit my right LCA mount badly on that small knob. It actually bent the steel mounts a touch. We just need a TAD more clearance to play on the center and left sides. The 80's have 4+ inch lifts and they go right up.

First official run is Saturday am. Friday is just staging, maybe a quick drive up the hill. The camp site will be well marked.

Ight, sounds great! Looking forward to meeting you guys! Those pics you posted look awesome!

Up in Wyoming, the excitement is building! We're looking forward to seeing you all on Friday. We'll plan to leave on Thursday a.m. and spend the evening with 'Ranchhand' in Edwards. We'll leave there early Friday and stop for a cup of coffee at Safari in GJ, before heading to the campsite. Do we need to bring anything? Just let us know.

Tell Hugh, Jonathan sent you!

Fire wood is the big thing right now for me. There is nothing dry up there. Other than that just typical camping stuff for a weekends worth of meals.
Here is a recap of some of the notes posted throughout.

  1. There are no bathrooms in the immediate area of camp. Plan accordingly.
  2. Bring food for all meals!
  3. Bring . First round is on me.
  4. Bring warm clothing for the evenings. It will probably be in the 40s at night
  5. Bring rain gear. Weather is calling for showers both days.
  6. Bring wife, kids,dogs etc. It's a family event.
  7. Bring firewood.
  8. Bring a friend. Its a great trip to introduce someone to wheeling.
  9. Bring a full size spare!
  10. Bring a good attitude and everything above will follow.

See you all there!

after all these 100 degree plus days.....this trip is sounding better and better....should be there Friday afternoon. Hopefully meeting up with a friend of mine in Silverton to run something off the beaten path on Thursday.....

see you all then....

CB 9 - I'll try to keep mine on most of the day but with the range of CB you will probably see me before you here me.

I will be there tomorrow...plans fell through with my buddy in Silverton....

Be there at 0930 tomorrow. Wife had to work an emergency shift. Pick a good camp spot!

Jon,

Thanks for a tremendous weekend. We had an unbelievable time meeting you guys and running the trails. Next time, I'll be set with a lift and better tires. Thanks for the support on the trail! Talk to you soon.

Bob and Amy

Just rolled in from an excellent weekend. I'm just starting to filter through the 879 photos I took and will be uploading some choice ones soon! It was a great opportunity to meet some great new people and re acquaint with some familiar faces. Rest assured that there will be a second annual 100s in the San Juan's run and it will be longer. We have already started brainstorming. Thank you to all who came and all who lived vicariously through the posts. Enjoy the photos.
