Good to hear the snow was deep this year. I enjoy all of the extra streams, waterfalls, etc from the snow melt. Looking forward to the trip.

Still can go skiing! the snowfall this year was the best I've experienced  Cant wait for extra muddy trails and like you said, streams and waterfalls.

OK, so the lineup is currently:

jonharis
bluecruiser
1LoudLX

We got to get a few more in on the deal. If not that's fine too. Knowing the other two rigs that are signed up, Poughkeepsie is looking promising. Need some vids of hundies making it look easy.

Here's an 80.

I thought there were about 5 Colorado 100 owners on the board regularly....where are those guys??

Jon you really should have an 80 series with you guys if your doing P Gulch. That way they can pull you up the wall:flipoff2: Your navigation system makes it look like a road but when you guys get there you will need an 80:doh:

If I let you show up, all 50000 of your friends will want in too! You 80 guys are like the damn plague. Leaving stuck Hundies in your wake......well Bill, I say to you, not any more!

I'm a 50/50 on this weekend trip. It would be great to meet up with you guys and check out this area with someone who knows it well.

I might be in. I just hate shelf roads.
Well Alpine Loop (Engineer, Cinnamon) is pretty mild as far as the "Oh Crap!" factor. Blackbear has pucker factor, Opher would be a great alternative for people who don't want to do BB. We could potentially split up and meet in Telluride. Imogene is similar to Engineer, nothing crazy. Having a group of identical vehicles would be confidence inspiring for all off us on Black Bear.

What would we need to do to get you to 70/30? Beer, BBQ and good people! who could ask for anything better.

Jon, PM sent.

Several have asked about camping. I'm thinking Ironton Park south of town on highway 50. Not an official CG but large enough for plenty of people and close to Ouray proper for those who might want to stay in a hotel. I'll be up there in the next couple of weeks to scout everything.

Fuzz! I hope we can still make it happen! I couldn't make it work in September, Other BCC events and other events planned and Labor day in the San Juan's is ridiculous.

"What would we need to do to get you to 70/30? Beer, BBQ and good people! who could ask for anything better?" you ask?

Those are three of my favorite things! Let me work on juggling a couple of things I have down and see if I can make it happen!

Jon, I put the request into my boss today for the weekend off. I should know by early next week whether or not I can attend.

No sliders for me so I'll probably have to bow out of poughkeepsie if the group goes that way, but the rest should be doable.

Yeah. You will be fine on the rest. But you should really really get some sliders if you can. Sell some stocks. Say pretty please to Christo. Something. Hopefully it goes through.

Jon,

The trip sounds like fun. Can foreigners tag along? I live in Wyoming. As for 'louds' requirements; My dawg thinks I'm cool, I enjoy drinking beer and single malt scotch (sometimes together), and my hundy has sliders.

I think it would be great to meet up with other like minded L/C owners. It would also give me an excuse to stop by and visit with Christo for more 'doodads'. Are you going to limit the number of vehicles? Is the camping going to be in a developed campground needing reservations or in the forest? Thanks in advance.

Bob

we are brining a stock and locked 80 the week of aug 5th if anyone is in the area we would love to meet up. PM me or e-mail me

Unfortunately, I can't make this trip. A good friend is having his 50th birthday party on Saturday, and my kids start school on the following Monday, so there will be last minute stuff to do for/with them this year. Hope to see you on the next one! Have fun!

Brad

Sounds like a great birthday present for your friend and last trip for the kids!
