Jon,

My wife and I (and our two dawgs) would love to tag along if you have room. We ran one of the passes a few years back in our F350 hauling a slide in camper and would love to tackle some others in the 100. Shoot me a line if it's cool. If not, I understand.

peace, Bob

I just posted up a few teaser pics from Ouray, just got back earlier today. Black Bear was closed but they are scheduled to open it up tomorrow so yall should be good to go. We ran it to the closed sign which was just a short way from the top of the steps. Imogene was awesome as usual, 50* up top, enjoy!

Can you go ahead and put me on the list? I am about 70% sure that I will be able to get out that weekend. I will get the paperwork in early and let you guys know. Rank has its privileges:hillbilly:.

Very nice. It will be great to have you along!

I just got back from leading a Book Cliff Cruisers run in the San Juans. The trip went great, we did Engineer, California, Hurricane, Corkscrew, Black Bear and Imogene. Everything was open and everything was in great shape! Black Bear had almost no one on it, I think people were scared because of the construction. In 3 weeks, I expect most of the remaining snow to be gone. It's going to be a great trip! I scouted out camp sites and will post GPS coordinates soon. Bring Fire Wood!

So exactly what kinds of runs will we be doing? Mostly shelf roads or some crawling?

Well, There really is no "Crawling" in the San Juan's. The Wall in Poughkeepsie is about the most challenging obstacle we will face. We may only drive up to it depending on the group. Black Bear Pass is a mental obsticle. You will have great spotters and if you listen to them you will do great. There is plenty of shelf road to be had but also some of the best viewscapes in the world. (I wish Mxndrinks would come so we could get some of his HDR going. I'm too lazy to do it myself). What it comes down to is that there is something for everyone and no one will be disappointed.

Since pictures speak louder than words, here is a link to pics of the trails/areas we will be traveling.

Ok, sweet. Nice pictures! I have driven through all of these mtn towns but it was in a an accord and we stayed on the road for the most part. I am really looking forward to experiencing some of the old pass roads in Colorado since I have mostly just done crawling. It is nice to know about new roads to keep things interesting!

Hi Jon, Is there room for another 100? I've been wheeling my 80 for the last few years and thought this would be a good trip to see what the "Mall Cruiser" can do. Of course if I win the KAFM 60 series I would love to bring that. Peace, Glenn

Absolutely! we would love to have you, the more the better. just loose the running boards at least. And I will be the one winning the 60 series thank you very much. :flipoff2:

That makes 9. A few more and we will break the CM record!

Nice photos! Will anyone be pulling a trailer?

Oh no, you let 'Ranch Hand' tag along? There goes the neighborhood...
Glenn, does Angie know you're going to tear up her 100? Or are you gonna ride along with us? I guess Amy and I will stop over at your house on the night of the 18th before heading to Ouray on the 19th.

Like Flounder said in 'Animal House', "Oh boy! This is gonna be great!" :steer:

Not me unless you can convince me that your buddies KK can really be fixed for a
decent sum. :)
