Hey guys. I finally got me a UZJ100, and I'm loving it so far.

The only issue I have is the previous owner installed an after-market entertainment center where the dome light should be. Since I don't plan on having kids anytime soon, I'd like to have a dome light. Anyone know where I can find a reasonable one for a 2000 model? Tan interior.

Make sure to check to see if your headliner has been "modified" for the aftermarket entertainment center. If it has, you may not be able to cover the hole with an OEM light. If not, Rob can install an add-on LED to the AEC to get you some light. He did that to my father's LX, and it definitely provides the light!

So. I put my new headlight housings in today. Got tired of the plastic ones that were cracked and leaking and fading.

This is a one piece, where as the oem are two piece. With the blinker/turn lamp separate.

No biggie. Installed easy. Fit almost perfectly. No mods to the housings.

However. The turn lamp pigtail from the lx harness is an 1157. The new light is different. Anyone have any knowledge or know how on how to retrofit so I can have turns?

If this bumper is fitted to a LX470, the side marker lights need to be converted to marker / indicator lights. The part numbers below are for the 100 Series Land Cruiser Marker Light housings, bulb sockets and pigtails. These can be used and wired into the LX470 to have a dual element bulb that can function as marker and indicator light

Taking some stuff off and refreshing wheels. Need rear brakes and tie rods ends due to looks to be a pickle fork killing the boot.

All new light bulbs will be in Wednesday so the blue light special will be no more.

those headlights look way better than the ones in mine.....mine were yellowing, not faded, because of the cracks in them....are yours the composite ones or real glass? not sure when they changed them....

Composite ones. I was afraid they had jacked up the housings but only dust cover so I think I am good. I have also cleaned and polished them.


Got some paint on a few of the wheels.

I found a rustolium metallic old copper at lowes. I need to hit with a clear coat for wheels tomorrow. I will tell you being in the wheel business. These RW wheels are very well made wheels.

Nolen has great tastes in a lot of things but he is afraid to step out on wheel colors.

AHC is badass... It make a truck so much easier to jack up do to pressure in shocks. Changing of the shocks as you drive is awesome. In H mode you could run a 35 all day everyday. It is a .5 to 1 inch taller than 99.

It is cool to see the differences between them in the same shop.

Anyone know a fix for this? @offr0adlim0 came by yesterday and helped sort out the ABS issues. We unlocked some more gremlins.

And whilst taking off the electrical tape I bumped the speedo needle. I put it back in place. Drove it. Worked fine. Came out this am and it was down at 6 again. I don't remember there being a "stop" for it. And don't see where a peg would have been.

Any ideas?

Dont buy or put on another one. Your kids will just lose it just like previous owners kids did. My 200 has all knobs missing.
