Found a post of the above 200 owner discussing his "prinus" rack. Cam, this will eff up searching mud now for this thread unless you know the special Bomar spelling.

Low Profile Roof Rack Options?

200 owner shares my same thought on the sunroof

For a non-welded assembly this is a cool concept. Just a couple of thoughts - with all the fab stuff folks do here, the key to this rack is access to a shop who'd do low rate run of the side plates from Al plate stock and someone w/ a CAD station to send them a file, perhaps after a wooden mock up was made to fit check. After that the 8020 extrusions are readily available and an ARB roof rack attachment kit [$150 or so] could handle the mounting. We used lots of 8020 on test rig fabrication - great stuff. Since they'll cut / drill / tap it for you, it would be worth asking about tapping for Helicoils to help w/ long term vibration in the bolted assembly - 2X bolt dia length mid-grip locking inserts.

I like those wheels too.

Lou ordered some from Discount. Looks like BS and Offset right it's just a 1" wider wheel.

Should work great with 305/65/18's.

He's gonna have 5 295/70/18 TG2's....like new FS soon if anyone wants some great tires cheap

Those just MIGHT fit on a non lifted 200. I had 295/65/18 and just barely rubbed.

@ntsaint , this might just work.

Hmmmm

@MScruiser With the front spacer think they would rub? No way im gonna lift the 200 anytime soon.

As an aside...will my 100 series 18" OEM wheels fit on the 200?

Edit: Damn that's a 34" tire...

true. i went ahead and bought some method racing wheels. styl 'NV'.....it's an 18x9 with +25 offset....that is pretty close to where it needs to be. it will put my wheel a little more than .5'' in from where it is now....i think.....i have an 18x8.5 with +1- offset now.......

fxxx me. if it doesnt work....i will be a wheel selling ass for a while......

They are going to be tight for sure. No one has ever tried that size on a 200 afaik.

100 series OE wheels will NOT fit on a 200. Not enough offset to clear the caliper. :(
