What ever your issue is with current wheel and tire setup you are not improving it with going with a wider tire. So if there was rubbing then more than likely still be there. Steering issues also.

i just want them more flush....if this set up doesnt work, i will buy some stock wheels and go from there....they just happen to be my last choice at the moment.....

your recommended tire size? (for the wheel that i have on order)

I think his current wheels have a super wide offset. His tires stuck out more than my 295's with Slee Spacers.

If these new wheels are the same offset as stock except for being a 9" wide wheel versus a 8" wheel then he will be set up like I am.

I could be 1" wider right now and still not rub like his does.

275.70.18 size/weight/cost/availability/choices

all better

It's a terrible looking tire on a 100 without spacers. They look good on Andys truck but his truck is also about 2" shorter than Lou's truck. 275's would look dumb on that truck.

Lou likes wide meats like I do too.

The 305/65/18 on stick tires do rub a bit. I'm thinking only when aired down. I can't replicate it.

Rub marks were not there before Big Bend

Backspace is only used by the 4wd'r still thinking SFA are the normal or still relevant.

Everything is metric and offset.

Search offset calculators and you can learn all about it.

Wheels will work fine it is the width of tire. The wheel will be about flush. For DD no issues rubbing if wheeling for sure.

Just trying to inform. It will be like your setup and still using your 1.5 spacers.

I might.....might could run a spacer and get away with it. I know it would not be as wide as Louis' is right now if I did.

Louis....just make sure yall keep the boxes and stuff. Pack them bitches back up and send em to Discount Tire if they don't give you some relief.
