Realized the OEM part is completely discontinued so I modeled this up today. Figured there's more than a few folks like me with a Shifter trim plate where the letters/indicators are bubbling and plastic is degraded. See some renders below.

This piece will be snap-in just like OEM with the colored inlays as shown, textured finish on top. Haven't modeled the shift-lock cap yet but that's next.

I thought about making one end of the slot removable so you can just slide it on rather than taking apart the whole convoluted shifter assembly, not sure how most folks would feel about cutting their old trim plate off though. Plan to throw this up on the site once the prototype finishes printing.
Would one of these for the 03-07 shift plate be doable?

98-02 shifter trim plates are now available, starting at only $45! Check out the pictures below, the letter inlays in the final version will be a bit bolder than the ones in this prototype, but it is 100% an improvement over the old bubbled, faded, scratched OEM part in my 1998.

These will start shipping out in 1 week but can be ordered now!
Free shipping on orders over $80, flat rate shipping of $5 per order for all orders!

Thank you all for the support and for putting up with all my spam!!!! Happy Easter!

Thanks, Will! Cannot wait to see your vents soon.

Still working on those! It’s been a non-stop effort to 100% iron out the window switch panels before I can start shipping them out. They fit great and the buttons work awesome but I keep finding nitpicky stuff to fix before I can start producing them.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Most definitely being a perfectionist is its own special type of hell. I get it. No worries. My baby is still in the dealership. So, waiting is not something to which I am new. As my father used to tell us growing up. The national motto is not "in God we trust." it is "hurry up and wait".

Not at this moment only because I don’t have one to test parts on. Do the late model ones deteriorate as well?
I wouldn't say deteriorate, but your products turn out so well I think many would love to add whatever they can from your company! Going to order a good bit in the upcoming weeks!

Sweet! can they be sanded smooth and painted too? Everything else in that area is smooth and glossy so the texture seems to stand out a bit

Yes! These are exactly what I have been looking for. Will definitely be ordering in a few weeks.

My interior trim is especially beat. Most of it actually peeled off from being left in the sun for so long. I read that you were doing the Double DIN Trim Kit in the future, would you possibly be able to also produce the wood trim that surrounds the center console(?). Not sure what the correct term for it is. I've attached an image of it.

I second this sentiment. Any way for you to make it smooth and glossy so it matches? Thx!
Hmmm

I'll have to do some experimenting. I'm sure it's possible just locking down a sustainable procedure will probably take some time. I've heard good results from ABS and Acetone

Unfortunately that piece is a bit too large for my printers to handle (for now)

Maybe in the future, mine isnt gorgeous either.

Pretty sure that is just a stick on faux wood type trim for LCs. Search here to find how others are taking them off. You can find inexpensive replacements online.
Here's one example found without spending much time searching:

Hey G.A. @MongooseGA Your vents are maybe due out 05/15/2022 Will says so on his website so you know its for realsies.

Not too many updates as of late, just trying to burn through the current backlog and make sure the designs are perfect. Hoping to knock out a transmission shifter design this weekend that would fit the 4th gen 4runner, 03-07 LX, All GX470, and probably some more toyotas from around that time period.

The rear window switch panels are still being worked on, the fronts turned out to be incredibly difficult to get the gaps just right between the panel and the leather on the door. Might put these behind the Rear AC vent since the demand doesn't seem quite as high for those panels (let me know if I'm wrong)

Really hoping to knock out a lot of the Rear AC vents this weekend as well as lots of people have shown interest.

In the meantime, I’ve gotten a chance to print some pretty neat colors for the door switches and cupholders. See a few examples here

A "Primordial Earth" color that matches the dark gray/brown on the door grab handles very well for @YezusLX with a special requested lexus logo. (Might try and slap an inlay in there)

Cant believe it took me 6 years to upgrade the cup holders, Best MOD hands down. Thanks for the quick delivery and easy experience. Make sure you watch the install video / remember to tuck the passenger side rear corner first when installing... Once done, fit is perfect.

Ordered a drink holder for a wife that never leaves the house without her 32oz of diet. Thanks!

We can't get heat out of our top vents can we? Only the floor for heat and AC from the top?

Product description reads......
"The Redirect kit will allow you to give your 2nd row passengers (or pups!) a much needed boost in air conditioning on the hottest days, or heat on the coldest."

I'll have to check! I guess I've never tried.
