Les- Thanks for bringing to our attention that the timelines for delivery of the EMS products are subject to change without notice. That is good information.
I, for one, understand that design, development, and production of small-batch precision parts takes time, and that schedules for such projects often slip. This is especially true when the supplier is a busy small business in a different state.
The way I see it- I think it's great that we have small fabrication shops willing to experiment with superior alternatives to factory replacement parts for our aging vehicles. My intent is to support such endeavors whenever it is practical.
I have ordered a set of midpipes from EMS and was told they would be ready "in a few weeks." We'll see what happens. I'm not in a hurry. If I was I would have had the pipes fabbed locally, but I really believe that the guys at EMS know what they are doing with Toyota exhaust and they will eventually send me something superior to what my local shop could make. My position is that until the supplier takes my money (charges my card), there is no obligation for either of us.
If EMS starts producing great parts for the 100-series, then we will all benefit. If it is all smoke and mirrors, which I doubt, then that is par for the internet, and nobody gets hurt.
You have made your point about the timelines for EMS parts, and now it just sounds like you are trying to pick a fight with baktash. take it easy.
If your situation requires next day delivery, then see what you can get on Amazon. I am willing to wait longer for something designed and fabricated by real people for my unique application. I hope this works out, and I will post back to let you know how it goes.
