Lots of little stuff the past week or so.

  • I got that little brake light reassembled with the correct connector
  • I replaced the leaking clutch slave cylinder with a new Aisin unit
  • Put clear coat on the valve cover
  • New body mounts and panel alignment.
  • Parking brake lever installed
  • Checked the cylinders for water due to my paranoia of the 3f experience, all good thankfully.
  • Made some brackets for the Koito headlight fuses/relays
All lights are functional except the brake lights.

Looks good @LSUfj …winch wiring next?

Finished up body mounts and got the valve cover on. Unfortunately I had to do a little grinding on the rear engine lift point to get the valve cover on straight. I didn’t want to risk a head gasket leak to get it moved over. All lights are functional except the brakes. I’ll dig into that next, along with getting all the steering components adjusted/tightened.

I pulled it out of the garage and let it run for a bit. Found a message from my daughter in the dust on the dash pad bracket :)

Several more accomplishments over the last few months.

  • Reinstalled the OME steering damper
  • Got new bilstein shocks
  • New energy suspension spring bushings
  • Exhaust is done
  • 3d printed a slick radio delete/sniper and phone mount.
  • Ordered a Cruiser Corps Windshield and some 3-point seat belts
I’ll get the windshield and seat belts in soon. I’ve driven it around the neighborhood several times now. Mechanicals seem to be good.

Yes….17 years. A combo of life and lack of funds got me here, buts it’s coming along now.
