1994 80 Series - stock engine and drivetrain- Cooper ST Maxx 255/85/16

0-60..... eventually

Crappy launch, clutch slipping in 4th. I can go faster. 40% ethanol 18lbs of boost. only spinning the engine to 5k rpm too, off throttle rolled into a 14.73 1/4 mile

Haha Nice work! You took my #2 spot! Haha I think we need a turbo truck to beat that V8 though lol
oh i can smash that thing, i haven't even spent any time really nailing the launch, i need to sort this clutch, anything over 550 ftlbs it lets go. Plus.. you know running a man trans is harder than just nailing the gas in a slush box

Yeah I am sure we are making a lot more power and torque then an NA 6.2 V8. Zero doubt about that.

this is awesome I need to do run with the Dragy in my FJ62

Took these for my own comparison, but after the swap put on YouTube for the hell of it. Adding here because why not.

10/93 1fzfe 280k miles, 315s, stock gears, part timed t-case. Engine light on for o2 sensor.
Drawers with recovery gear and necessary tools. Armored up minus the rear when video was taken. Speedo is calibrated.

250ish elevation, mid 70s ambient

Looks like about 12sec to 60

———————————————————-
Same conditions, including fuel level and ambient temp. 5.3 swap basically stock. 4l60 with corvette servo and some tuning.

Thanks for posting this. First vid showing the stock engine is plenty fast for me.
