Asking here as my trans has more in common with yours than an 80. Is converter lock up a function of the vb or is it controlled elsewhere?

Bought this idler shaft from AA and never ended up using it. Box was only opened for pictures. Located in Castaic Ca. Part number and description in the pictures. 125 shipped to lower 48.

Fits factory 4 speed transmission. A little banged up, but no rot. $160 plus the ride. Count on shipping being over $50 because of size.
