I have a 1992 Toyota 4Runner that's makes a loud clicking/clunking noise every time the drivers side front wheel rotates. It's only on one side, everything appears to be fine looking at it. It used to pull to the left really bad and we tore the front end apart and it was a caliper hanging up. So within the last few months inner and outer wheel bearings were done, new rotors, pads, calipers and brake lines. At that time we inspected everything and it was fine. It drove great for a couple weeks and then we put a new set of all terrains on it and ever since then it's made this noise and now it's pulling to the left again. Not sure if it's a coincidence or if it has something to do with the new tires. The new tires are only 31s and the 4Runner is lifted 3 inches so it shouldn't be any clearance issues.

I would appreciate any help cause I'm ready to start going to the dunes and to the mountain but I don't want my axel blowing up or anything

Manual locking hubs or ADD hubs? It could be your CV joint clicking as that's what they do when the boot gets torn and the grease is replaced by water/as they age.

They're automatic hubs. Would I need to get a whole new axel? And if so do you know how much they go for?

They should be less then $100 per side for good after market ones.

They're not auto hubs, they are just simple drive plates with a center splined hole. Remove the plates (both sides) , take it for a short ride, see if the noise is still there.

Yes. As it'd stop it from turning.
