Solid work. I've been wanting to do something similar, but I'm not sure about where I want it. I've been going back and forth between the shifter console and the center console. I've even considered getting a padded console lid and putting it in the small upper console.

Have you sold the upper console and arm rest? If not, I'm interested I'm also interested in the running boards if they're not eat up with rust.

I would love to a rear ashtray replacement that incorporates a single USB and a seat heater switch. I also wouldn't mind a 3rd row ashtray replacement that had a 120v outlet.

Hello all. I can't believe I'm just finding this section of 'mud. Coast Guard Gunner's Mate here. 8 years active, 4 and counting in the reserves and the proud owner of a FJ80.

I've been thinking about doing this as well but using my center dif lock swich to turn the front camera on and off although after reading this thread I may just use a 3 position rocker. I'll be curious to see how well it actually works if nothing else it will help with tight parking down town.

Where did you get the USB port and does it connect toyour radio?
