I bought this trailer 4 years ago at a FT Riley auction. I had planned on building an expedition rig from it but never found the time. It's a 1968 Johnson i believe M101-A2 in really good shape not a rust bucket like most its always had the top and bows on it from what i can tell. It's titled as a 1948 Johnson as thats the only way i could get a title for it. but it is a 1968. Tires are good has 12v civilian lights on it. $500 Located in Wichita KS.

I'm selling my M103A3 military trailer for $500 obo. The M103 is a platform for multiple trailer types. This originally likely was a generator trailer though these were multiple platfomed. This type of trailer is hard to find because of its original use. This is a 1.5 ton trailer, but I've seen these with a load of brick 4 feet tall over the entire bed and the overload springs barely engaged. It would be difficult to overload it. The trailer is in excellent, but modified, condition. The modifications include a truck-bed storage box (with lock and key) welded on the front, see pics below. I have for sale a 2004 Tentrax tent trailer. This trailer was custom ordered and purchased by a friend of mine in December 04'. He was unfortunately killed in an automobile accident and never got to use it. I've had it ever since then. It was stored in doors until about a year ago, and now it has to go. It has Jeep Rubicon Moab wheels with Goodyear MTR tires. 1400 lb torflex axle and 3500 lb hubs and bearings. Nicely equiped, I have the original invoice with a total of $7486.00. I have the certificate of origin from the manufacturer. There is some rust staining from the hinge screws that could probably be taken care of with some compound and one reflector is cracked. The trailer is very sound! The floor is the only part of the trailer that is rusted. The previous owner put a plywood floor in the bottom and trapped the water! Everything on the trailer is original except the rubber. Must sell! These trailers go for big money because they are very collectable. Asking $1000

Hey I am new to the site and am looking for feedback on my trailer project. It is a 5 x 8 flatbed with a slide out rack system It has a Tepui Tent on top and is solar powered. The battery pack powers my Engle refer and several LED lights for the capsite and the tent itself. Also will have a 20 gal water tank with electric pump, 2-5 gal fuel tanks and propane. I specifically designed it to carry either a boatload of gear or a 4 wheeler and gear. It has massive clearance and I have taken it into the rough stuff with my 2009 Rubi. I have decided to sell my M101 CDN trailer. We are moving this summer and I won't have room for it. It is currently in my garage. It's condition is typical of these trailers in an unrestored condition.
The good: It pulls well at 80 mph and below. The lights work. It is registered and titled and tagged in California. It has 33 x 12.5 BFG All Terrains on it that are in good shape. These are on FJ60 chrome wheels that are also in good shape. To get these wheels mounted to the trailer, I replaced the original drums with new ones. I still have the original drums, rims, and tires.
The bad: It has some rust. It was stored in Canada, probably outside, for almost 20 years. One of the tailight housings in cracked - easy...

Newer M101 trailer for sale - Expedition Portal Forum
Completely original with Marine Corps camo paint. Equipped with lever operated parking break. In Late 2009, trailer rewired with new 12V taillights; 3 Wheels (2 trailer, 1 spare) were sandblasted and repainted and brand new reproduction 7.00x16LT Non-Directional Military tires, tubes and liners; and wheel bearings, seals, and spindle washers were replaced. The trailer only took one trip since this work (L.A. to Death Valley and back)
Comes with original bearings, tubes, liners, as spares and original military 24V convoy lights. I have not repainted this trailer since purchasing in 1997. It's true condition is exactly what you see.
