:D

We are making headway, rear suspension is complete. ARB front and rear bars are in the works.

Cool! Do you have a list of the mods?

Sent from my droid

Yep, I can get everything installed this weekend. Shoot me a PM and I'll get you my address to send all the goods.!!

In all seriousness, I look forward to completion pics...

No...I wanted those steps so bad...should have waited longer

Funny things, those are your steps :D When you passed on them I was in 100 Series shopping mode so I left them up hidden in the shelves.

Following the build this weekend we will have a comprehensive build thread with details of all aspects.

From our club site:

"We are embarking on a "How to build a 100 Series in a weekend" build thread this coming weekend. Plan is to start Friday at 6pm. My bone stock 100 will be centered in the shop, several go-pro's at different angles. We will work until 'late' on Friday. Pick up again on Saturday morning ~9am and work until 'late' Saturday or its done. If we need to finish some items Sunday we will. Plan is to do the build in one weekend, document the entire build and then break it down into a build thread in which we will do an update once a week for a couple of months. At the end we'll have the 5-10 minute YouTube video which will be a time lapse of the start to finish.

Build plans:

ARB front & rear bumpers
Warn winch
IPF lights
Slee Skids
Dual bats
Snorkel
Shower
OME Suspension
Eezi-Awn Rack
Outback Drawer system
ARB Fridge wiring
etc."

Nice work guys...

I saw dmc in Sandy this past week. He invited me to come check out the work on the desert racer.

Might try to stop by if I have a chance...

That would take me a couple weeks at least and even then I would be tuning the details for months to come. Awesome project. Hope you're planning to post the time lapse vid to youtube.

Went and turned a wrench for a bit. Truck is coming along very nicely. The Eezi-Awn roof rack is really cool, very impressive new offering from Equipt. The ARB fender rails and steps sure have come a long way in quality. They may not be a true slider, but they're much more stout than they used to be. Also first time I've seen a Warn VR winch, also impressive. Makes me wish they'd been out when I got my M8, def. would have gotten one of those instead. Not sure where Kurt is going to sammich in the Helton, there's not a whole lot of space under the hood with the 2nd batt and Luna gear.

Very cool quick build with top notch stuff.

At the end we'll have the 5-10 minute YouTube video which will be a time lapse of the start to finish.

Sure you can get it done in a weekend, take a pic of the plug under your hundred that the ARB rear harness plugs into.

Also if you can get a pic of the plug from the ARB harness. I want to see if mine is different.

Hey Jason, mine does in fact plug & play. I unplugged the stock trailer harness and literally plugged the ARB one right into it. However as we discussed it only works assuming I want to run the red/red rear lenses as it uses a 4 wire system (grd, park, left turn/tail & right turn/tail. As my 2000 has the amber turn signals in the rear I'm going to tweak the harness to run a true 5 wire setup with true stop light. Still not sure why your harness wouldn't plug in?
