Reviving an old thread here, I've been looking high and low for details on a DIY gullwing (or similar) for the LX470. I've seen the ones from AUS but...$$$. I see some guys on here had ideas to modify the motorized tilt out windows but never went anywhere. Anyone know if those windows can tilt out farther than with the motorized factory assembly? Has anyone done a DIY mod for 100 series or LX470?

It's a great idea but at the end of the day you would probably spend more than the cost of the AU brand trying to get a working model...

There are companies the will make custom windows .... there's a Jeep guy working with a few window companies.. Scroll down on the link and you'll see some cool windows... $$$$$
