had a great time guys , only took one pic before phone died .

Buying this from one of your Auburn buddies so I can go on awesome trips like this with y'all

Know that rig well!
Get it ready for the SCC in October!
Sorry you missed this one.

I need to take what's left of the running boards off walkers 80 after this weekend. What sliders should I get? Best bang for the $

Not really any good cheap 80-series sliders. Metal-Tech and Slee are your easiest bet. They go on quickly. But cheapest would be have someone pain-stakingly make some. It will be a pain in the process, but the cheapest...

Teddy has some weld on sliders that he recommended. Not sure if he made them or not

I have a fully built monster 80 for $9k :p

Wow, what an amazing history that 80 has! I would have loved to have had that up at Black Balsam yesterday....I've got a bit of a cream puff (stock 94 w/88k, 1 previous owner out of TX) that was painful to trailride.....So can anyone ride in the rear seats? How is it running since you've gotten it back from the guys in AR & RI owning it?

It used to be a cream puff!

Yeah, the "expect scratches" was heeded... but not truly understood. WOW! I Mean, I have driven on UTV trails in parks, but these were not twigs, some were sawed off limbs. I ain't worried about my rig, but I feel bad for some of you. What an awesome trail that was!

Don't feel bad for me, i was well warned by Marshall on the scratching and the plan is to get a paint job within the next 6-9 months unless the youngest attends college locally and then a lift, bigger tires and who knows what may be in it's future! That was an awesome experience to prove what a stock Cruiser can do!

Had a great time this weekend despite the rough start. Big thanks to the group for having their Ham radios on as I was arriving - it was a big contribution to the success of the trip. Huge thanks to Marshall for letting me ride shotgun and help figuring out the logistics of getting my truck back to Atlanta. We found a tow company in Walhalla that is holding my truck until he comes through tomorrow on his way to Atlanta.

Took a few more pictures than normal since I wasn't driving. Here is the whole collection and I'll post a few here too.

Even though they gated the camping spot at Black Balsam. I still thought where were stayed was just fine. Some people were bummed about not being on the grass but to be honest camping on the side really wasn't that bad. Was a great shelter from the wind. Next time I'll just bring a 4 season tent and walk the 100 ft to the bald if I want a view in the morning. Will say was nice being able to wear shorts at night up there. Probably got down to the high 50's at night and a high of 72. Wind wasn't that bad this time. Vegetation was a lot thicker than in October. Were a lot less people there this time than in October.

Thursday nights spot was great because the water was deep but I think next year we go and do the stream crossing and camp there. Wouldn't change a thing about Friday night.

Saturday we are going to have to limit the amount of Trucks that place can handle. 15 trucks tops. The day crowd was perfect. Next year get them to come in last.
