I've looked at this before and couldn't figure it out. I wanna hook my Hellas into my highbeams..Can anyone steer me in the right direction to solve this. I would greatly appreciate it

^^ There

Do I need three harnesses or just the pigtails I'm a little confused. Thanks

Normally an off road lights harness will have a signal wire which will turn the lights on when you turn on the dash switch and put on your high beams. I have always used the lightforce lights wiring harness. it has this built into the harness.

The pigtails are if you wish just to do the driving lights with your existing wiring. The first wiring set covers the upgraded wiring for your headlights. The second set covers upgraded wiring and the on/off ability for your driving lights. First for lights, second for driving lights. The third set is if you want to get off on the cheap.

I the Hella harness that has the wire that connects to the high beams.. I tried to wire it up to the highbeams but the high beams wire won't trigger the aux lights

Yes, the easy answer it to buy from slee. You'll need either the a) lighting harness ($48) and the aux lights harness ($35) or b) the hi beam jumper for $6 and the aux light harness ($35). This is for the high beams to trigger the aux lights. Essentially, all this harness does is run the normal circuit to turn on the lights through a relay, which then turns on the higher current connection from battery to lights. It is a nice plug and play system.

If the OP (anyone for that matter) wanted to replicate, because you know, they're into tech....below is what you would need.

(1) Delphi connector 12059183 $1.80
(2) Delphi F terminals 12077413 $0.24
(2) Delphi cable seals 15324981 $0.10
(2) Delphi TPA secondary lock 12059185 $0.27
(1) Delphi M connector 12084167 $2.04
(2) Delphi M terminals 12048159 $0.22
(2) Delphi cable seals 15324982 $0.10
(1) 30A Relay $1.75
(1) Relay Socket $2.25

You'll also need wire, fusible links/fuse, heat shrink and misc butt connectors. So, with shipping you can probably build for half the cost....If wanting to low beams, the 9006 bulb connectors are 12059181 (female) and 12084166 (male). If anyone really wants to do this, I can draw up a cheesy wiring diagram.....

Post a picture or link to what you have for the hella harness....

Use a 12v automotive relay provide 12v positive to one side of the switch. The other side of the switch should go to one side of the lights and the other side of the lights should be grounded. Ground one side of the coil of the relay and run a jumper wire from your headlight high beam power wire to the other side of the relay coil, or vise versa, not sure without testing whether it's a 12v constant with a negative switch light setup. Either way, you're a relay and a voltmeter and some wire away from a simple solution.

would need to run other side of relay coil to 12V+. Not sure what other years look like, but this is for 96-97....

splice in a wire to R-y wire going to a high beam light, connect to pole 86 on relay. hook everything else up as shown.

Easier solution, R_Y to pole 86 and R-L (that's red blue) to pole 85, skip switch and indicator light....

Simple solutions are best. I may have to look into this now. Always great ideas on this board.

hi lazy can you send a link or a picture of the wiring diagram, doing this to my 94 on mon.

Lazy, can you send a pic or link of wiring diagram. I'm doing this on my 94 on Monday. Slee harness is on back order for 3 months so need to get it done myself.
Thanks in advance, appreciate the parts list!
