Welcome...

I know I've seen you somewhere else.....;)

Love your truck btw!

These look good stock, but man your truck looks awesome!! Doesn't hurt that I am partial to black SUVs.

Hello .. new member here signing in from Calgary. I figured I'd start with post here even though my 5th Gen 4Runner is almost 2 years old now. Getting things set-up for expedition travel is a work in progress but here are a few photos:

That black on black is sharp. By the time Toyota finishes slapping all of that shiny chrome on it the 4Runner appears to more of a mall princess than a trail capable off-roader. My .02 worth.:)

Agreed...I wish they would either match paint or just used black parts but unfortunately most Americans want it the other way and majority wins!

Sent from deep in the mountains of Honduras using only sticks and rocks.

Again, thanks for the props on my 4Runner. I still have misgivings about having a black off-pavement rig but, looking on the bright side, once my4Runner loses it's shine and is pin-striped all to rat poop, I'll be able to touch it up with barbecue paint!

You don't want to paint it with barbecue paint.....you would be better off painting it in a camo scheme. You can touch it up with any shade of brown, tan or green
( mud even works ) and you will be able to sneak up on "critters.":D

Nice trucks, I came from a 2010 4-runner myself, loved it. You should visit T4R.org its a great site with great people. Good luck with her.

Seems like a good place for 4runner dads to introduce themselves.

Here is my dad-mobile, I have twin 2 year olds. I guess I'll make a build thread sometime. Mine is a dual purpose family build, still missing my Shrockworks hybrid sliders. But here it is as sits. It's a 2011 4Runner SR5 4x4 w/ OME 884 springs on 90010 struts and Toytec Superflex rear springs with OME 60020 shocks. 285/70/17 BFG TA KO load D tires on OEM wheels.

That is one mean 4 runner, would be cool if we could get them here in Australia

We will trade 4Runners all day long for your Land Cruisers.

I always been a fan of the early generation 4runners, never liked my wife's 2005 and thought Toyota had lost their mind with the newest one. I now realize there are versions of the new 4Runner that look very nice. ( still not a fan of the tail lights ) This version is very desirable in my opinion.
