The winch as I gathered is on top of the bumper. My bumpers are not yet ready. My next priority.

This is how I apply zinc coat to my old bolts.

My automotive electrcian is doing the finishing touches for all wirings while my chief mechanic. checks all components.

Isn't one of your headlamps in 90 degrees wrong?

This looks awesome. What else will be flat black on interior?

I tried to correct the misalignment of the headlamp on the right side and found out that the set I recieved from the seller on eBay, sent me all left hand side. Since I ordered this last year and have used it already, I guess I will just have to order another set. Anyway, I can use this in my BJ40 unit. Lesson learned, inspect all parts thoroughly before installing and/or setting aside for installaion later on.

Tried on the front bumper for alignment. I will apply body filler while the bumper is on so I can correct the surface for irregularities.

Rear bumper was easy and simple compared to the front. A darker gun metal color with a 60% jet black and 40% metallic silver for both bumpers. I still do not have a color for the bullbar.

Looks like the front bumper got into a right hand crash. It will look like new once painted.

I'll go for a darker body color, with black bumper extensions. Might leave bullbar as is, stainless steel.

Extension bumpers are old and pretty much worn out. I did some cutting for the templates to replace the steel brackets embedded into the bumper extensions.

I got the bumper ready for a coat of epoxy primer.

Meanwhile, my parts arrived from Australia.

I tried to check if Duracool is available in the Philippines., no luck yet. You are right, refrigerant quality is important for cooling. What we have though is Maxicool. don't know if their product is the same. Thanks for the info.

Worked on the bumpers and here is the result.

I just detected a leak at the main shaft of the winch. I decided to disassemble and might as well recondition it before painting.

I have the exact same seal leaking. Did you have any kind of shim sheets under seal retainer, how many?

I have not yet removed the seal retainer as I was busy scraping paint and degreasing all other parts of the winch. I will let you know by tomorrow. I guess the winch is on the outside and is visible to all. This needs to be reconditioned to tip top shape. I hope to make it look new.
